Industrial chiller selection follows the heat that must be removed from the process. A machine’s full electrical nameplate rating is not necessarily the heat transferred to cooling water.

Technical assessment

Review production schedules, load variation, temperature tolerance and the consequences of downtime. Water quality, filtration, exchanger separation and service access matter alongside capacity.

Information needed for selection

Provide the application, operating hours, cooling load, entering and leaving liquid temperatures, fluid type and concentration, flow, site location and environmental conditions. A nominal capacity alone does not replace a detailed equipment selection.
